• This service is available to persons aged 18–69 who have the legal capacity to grant a Power of Attorney. Applicants must appear in person to sign the document.
• Applicants aged 70 years or above must also appear in person to sign the document and are required to provide a medical report confirming mental competency.
1. Completed General Power of Attorney application form.
2. Valid Lebanese identification: Lebanese ID card; or Individual Civil Registry Extract; or Lebanese passport, along with a photocopy.
3. Copy of the valid ID of the person receiving the Power of Attorney.
4. Description of the powers or authority to be granted.
5. For custom wording: Submit the proposed Power of Attorney text in Microsoft Word format.
6. Any supporting documents depending on the type of power of attorney.
7. Applicants aged 70 or above: A medical report or attestation confirming mental competency is required.

The fee is charged per person granting the Power of Attorney. If more than one person is granting authority in the same Power of Attorney, each person must pay the applicable fee.

• The type of Power of Attorney you need.
• The full name of the person you are authorizing.

2. Attach the following to your email:
• Completed application form.
• Clear copies of all required documents listed above.
• Any additional supporting documents, if applicable.
3. Attend the Embassy in person to sign the Power of Attorney. Bring your original identification document and physical copies of all required documents with you.
• The applicant must appear in person to sign the document.
• Original identification documents must be presented during the appointment, along with physical copies of all of the required documents.
• All documents submitted by email must be clear, legible, and of high quality. Blurred, incomplete, or unreadable documents may delay the processing of your application.
